Mariano Bernardez es un conocido consultor nacido en Argentina con amplia experiencia internacional y en America Latina, especializado en eLearning, Cambio Organizacional y Sistemas para la mejora de la Performance (Work Outs, CBT, EPSS) .
Mariano ha practicado la consultoría en cambio organizacional y tecnología de la performance durante 25 años y ha actuado como como experto de las Naciones Unidas, consultor de Arthur Andersen y de Andersen Consulting y como managing partner de sus propias compañías consultoras en América Latina y Europa..
Actualmente supervisa la práctica de consultoría para Europa y América latina como socio director del grupo MBC Consulting, con base en Chicago y en Madrid y Board Director de la Sociedad Internacional para la Mejora del Desempeño (ISPI) 2004-2006. Actualmente dirige el primer programa doctoral en Mejora de la Performance Social y Organizacional, el Performance Improvement Institute
Mariano es un expositor regular en Conferencias internacionales de ISPI, ASTD, es miembro de AMA y de la IFTDO y ha publicado asiduamente en la Argentina, Brasil y en la Management Review de la AMA , Educational Technology y Performance Improvement. Es autor de cinco libros en castellano sobre HPT, e-learning y Mejora de la Performance.
Sus desarrollos en eLearming han sido pioneros en America Latina y han sido reconocidos internacionalmente. ISPI le otorgo en 1998 y 2002 Leadership Awards y en 2011 el Honorary Life Member Award.
Ha instalado knowledge factories en Europa y America Latina y supervisa numerosos proyectos internacionales
Mariano es ademas fundador del primer Capítulo argentino de la ISPI y del Performance Improvement Global Network. Ha sido fundador tambien de capitulos de ISPI en Espana y Mexico.
Mariano es Doctor en Ciencias de la Educación, Master en Educacion a Distancia y de Adultos y Certified Performance Technologist (CPT) por ISPI y ASTD.

He has been a consultant on organizational change and performance technology for more than 25 years. He was a management development expert for the United Nations, senior consultant for Andersen Consulting and managing partner of his own consulting firms in Argentina and Spain.
Mariano is currently the managing partner of MBC Consulting, based in Chicago and Madrid. The firm operates knowledge factories and consulting engagements in Europe and Latin America, and specializes in developing international and multi-cultural human performance projects. Mariano is also a director of the board of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) based in Washington, DC for the 2004-2006 period.
Since 2005, Mariano is executive director of the first PhD & MBA program on Societal and Organizational Performance, the Performance Improvement Institute (PII)
He has been an international presenter at ASTD conferences and at all ISPI conferences since 1993. He is a long -time member of ISPI, ASTD, American Management Association and International Federation of Training and Development Organizations . Mariano has published articles in Management Review, Educational Technology, Performance Improvement and Performance Improvement Quarterly, as well as in Argentina's Revista de Administración Pública.
He is the author of five books on HPT in Spanish, and co-editor of the Social and Organizational Performance Review.
Mariano is founder of the first Argentinean Chapter of ISPI. He also founded the Performance Global Improvement Network and organized the first Spanish language HPT Institute. Mariano has started ISPI chapters in Spain (2002) and Mexico (2006)
Mariano has been recognized for his pioneering work in CBT, e-learning and online performance systems in Latin America and Europe and is considered one of the leading international experts in e-learning and e-performance.
As management consultant, Mariano has implemented strategic consulting projects in management development, change management and business and knowledge development in Fortune 500 companies in the United States, Europe and Latin America.
Mariano holds a doctorate in education and a master 's degree in distance learning and adult education . He is a Certified Performance Technologist (ASTD and ISPI) .
